KeyPro

台灣早期對軟體保護鎖的俗稱，但也頗為有貼切，有KEY和Protect兩個意思的組合。

Dongle

就是指KeyPro，亦即接在機器後面的小東西，在中國慣稱它叫”狗”或”加密狗”，取Dongle諧音，不過多數人傾向稱它protection key，

protection key的程式碼，等於對軟體加了一個鎖，要運行的時候需要一個鑰匙來解鎖。
